Montpelier Alive hosts July 3rd festivities in Vermont’s capital city
In addition to celebrating America’s independence, event organizers said the July 3rd festivities also commemorate the progress made in Montpelier, almost one year after the 2023 flooding.
Independence Day celebrations are already getting started across Vermont and New York, including in Vermont’s capital city. It’s an opportunity for anyone to come out and explore all different parts of the city, from self-guided State House tours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., visiting the new “For the Love of Vermont” exhibit from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Vermont History Museum, and more!“The summer is a wonderful time to be in Vermont, and we’re welcoming visitors at this time of need,” Trautz said. “There’s a lot to do and see in our area, so we hope that people will come.” Click here for a full schedule of events.
