THERE WILL BE SANDWICHES, SNACKS, BEER, AND NON- ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. the band RAGGED COMPANY WILL BE PERFORMING, AND YOU’RE ENCOURAGED TO BRING A BLANKET OR CHAIR. IT’S SURE TO BE A FUN-FILLED AFTERNOON! THE MAYOR’S CUP FESTIVAL WILL BE HAPPENING IN PLATTSBURGH TODAY, PUT ON BY THE SUNRISE ROTARY CLUB. THE EVENT KICKS OFF WITH THE MAYOR’S CUP 5K RUN AND WALK EVENT, AT PLATTSBURGH CITY BEACH. IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REGISTRATION OPENS AT 9 AM AND COSTS $30- dollars. the race starts at 9:30 this morning. THEN, AT 11, THERE WILL BE A FREE 1K FUN RUN AT PLATTSBURGH CITY BEACH FOR KIDS 12 AND UNDER. YOU CAN ALSO PLAY VOLLEYBALL FOR FREE THROUGHOUT THE DAY at the beach, AND THERE WILL BE A SANDCASTLE AND SCULPTURE CONTEST TO CHECK OUT. REGISTRATION for that STARTS AT 9:30 AND it’s free to enter. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED TO DIFFERENT AGE CATEGORIES. FINALLY, THE 51ST ANNUAL TUPPER LAKE ART SHOW continues this weekend FROM 11 a-m TO 6:30 p-m AT TUPPER ARTS on park street. Ride the lift or hike to mid-mountain for the concert. There will be sandwiches, snacks, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.Mayor’s Cup Festival – Plattsburgh, NY The Mayor’s Cup Festival kicks off today with the Mayor’s Cup 5K run and walk event, at Plattsburgh City Beach.
