THE EVENT KICKS OFF WITH THE MAYOR’S CUP 5K RUN AND WALK EVENT, AT PLATTSBURGH CITY BEACH. IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REGISTRATION OPENS AT 9 AM AND COSTS $30- dollars. the race starts at 9:30 this morning. THEN, AT 11, THERE WILL BE A FREE 1K FUN RUN AT PLATTSBURGH CITY BEACH FOR KIDS 12 AND UNDER. There will be sandwiches, snacks, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.Mayor’s Cup Festival – Plattsburgh, NY The Mayor’s Cup Festival kicks off today with the Mayor’s Cup 5K run and walk event, at Plattsburgh City Beach.
