Police are looking for a driver that crashed into a person in Morrisonville and then sped away, leaving them seriously injured.New York State Police said they received a report about a hit and run involving a pedestrian at 11 p.m. on Thursday night on State Route 22B.An investigation determined that an unknown vehicle was traveling on 22B when the driver struck a pedestrian and then fled. Police later identified the vehicle involved as a white 2012 GMC Sierra.Police located the victim on the south shoulder of the road. The person suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to CVPH before being transferred to the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington in critical condition.Both state police and the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department are investigating. Anyone who has information that could help police identify the driver is asked to contact NYSP at 518-873-2777.
