The high school fall sports season is winding down, and with it comes the first set of sectional playoff matches across New York.That includes Section VII, with sectional boys’ and girls’ soccer playoffs taking place across the North Country for the next week and a half. See below the brackets for each class, with regular score updates, highlights and reactions from each day of the postseason. Plattsburgh forward Bailey Hewson delivered a strike from the 30-yard line which sailed over Peru keeper Megan Corrow and into the back of the net for the game winning goal. “It was amazing, it felt great,” Hewson said. “Really excited, always exciting to win a sectional semifinal, especially against a team like Peru they always give a good fight, so it felt really good for all of us.”Plattsburgh will face Beekmantown for the second straight year in the Class A sectional championship.
