THE AREA’S CERTIFIED MOST ACCURATE FORECAST.> FULL WEATHER: (áááWALLááá) .SYNOPSIS… Precipitation will continue across the region tonight as a low pressure system and cold front cross the region, with periods of moderate to heavy rainfall possible. This rainfall along with some snowmelt will likely lead to some flooding across portions of the region. Colder conditions return by Thursday, with a lake effect snow band to become established off of Lake Ontario, with high pressure building in towards the weekend.. Icy travel is likely Thursday morning, and higher elevations can pick up a light accumulation of snow!The rainfall, with totals between 1 and 2 inches, combined with snowmelt, will cause localized flooding on a few rivers.
