Vermont found themselves on the business end of a close call during its 2-1 loss to Northeastern.After a scoreless first 51 minutes, Vermont’s Luca Münzenberger was called for tripping Northeastern’s Jack Williams, setting up the Huskies on a powerplay. Nick Rhéaume scored for the visitors, putting them up 1-0. UVM head coach Steve Wiedler elected to pull goalie Axel Mangbo with a little over two minutes left in regulation, giving the Catamounts a 6-on-5 man advantage, resulting in Colin Kessler tying the game with just under 90 seconds left.After forcing overtime, the Catamounts fell on their heels, giving up a goal to Williams 119 seconds into overtime.
