Vermont State Police responded to the Exit 20 ramp on I-91 Southbound Monday night, after a reported crash involving a police cruiser. It happened just after 6 p.m. Police said Jacob Fox was on duty. Fox was operating his marked state police cruiser when he merged into the open portion of the on-ramp to follow a suspect vehicle that had left the scene. Police said Sam Zuk was driving on the on-ramp at a low speed. When Fox pulled into traffic, he collided with Zuk’s vehicle.Both vehicles sustained damage, but were able to be driven from the scene. No injuries were reported for either operator.Police said the road conditions were dry at the time of the crash. However, they also said it was dark and unlit on that section near I-91.
