PARKING AND WALKING AROUND DOWNTOWN. NOW TO THE FUN PART OF THE SUPER BOWL. THE FOOD. SO MANY PEOPLE COME TO TOWN TO EAT. OUR GREAT CUISINE. ACTUALLY, GINA, WE JUST TALKED TO THE CREW FROM PHILADELPHIA NEXT TO US. THEY WENT TO ATCHAFALAYA LAST NIGHT. CHRIS LYNCH, GREAT GUY FROM PHILADELPHIA. GREAT RESTAURANT, SHOWING OFF HIS FOOD. BUT SO MANY PLACES ARE SHOWING OFF NEW ORLEANS CUISINE. LET ME TELL YOU, ONE THING WE GO DO HERE, IT IS GOING TO BE EAT. OKAY. SO LET’S GO TO WDSU SPORTS REPORTER KENDALL DUNCAN WITH THE PREVIEW OF THE FOOD AND THE FUN. KENDALL, I KNEW I WAS GETTING IN IT. GREAT. YEAH, GUYS, ALL I GOT TO SAY IS, IF YOU’RE COMING TO THE SUPER BOWL, COME HUNGRY BECAUSE THE FOOD SPREAD IS NEXT LEVEL, JUST AS YOU’D EXPECT. BECAUSE LIKE YOU MENTIONED, HERE IN NEW ORLEANS, WE TAKE OUR FOOD VERY SERIOUSLY. IF YOU TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR SCREEN, YOU’LL SEE SOME OF THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE. AND WHAT WAS A SAMPLE OF EVERYTHING YOU CAN EAT ON GAME DAY THROUGHOUT THE SUPERDOME, RANGING FROM THE SUITES TO THE CLUBS AND NO SHOCK LOUISIANA FLAVORS HIGHLIGHTED ALL ACROSS THE BOARD BY LOCAL CHEFS. I’M TALKING PO’BOYS, GUMBO, ALLIGATOR SAUSAGE, FRESH SEAFOOD, AND SO MUCH MORE. BUT DON’T BE FOOLED, THE CHEFS SAYING IT’S STILL SUPER BOWL SUNDAY AND THE FOOD WILL REPRESENT THAT. YOU KNOW, THE OFF SEASON. WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT, IT’S STADIUM FOOD. IT’S STILL FOOTBALL FOOD. AND THAT’S WHAT. AND IT’S FUN. THAT’S WHAT I THINK WE REALLY WANT TO BRING TO PEOPLE. BECAUSE WHEN YOU COME TO NEW ORLEANS, YOU KNOW, WHEN YOU EAT, WHEN YOU’RE GOING OUT TO DINNER, IT’S IT’S ENTERTAINMENT. IT’S PART OF THE FUN. AND THAT’S HOPEFULLY WHAT WE CAN GIVE TO OUR GUESTS HERE. A LITTLE TASTE OF NEW ORLEANS, NO PUN INTENDED, WHEN THEY SAY, WE GOT TO GO BACK. THERE’S NO FEELING LIKE THE FIRST ONE. WELL, CHEF MARTINSON TELLING ME THIS PROCESS HAS BEEN LIKE A FOOTBALL GAME AND IT’S TAKEN A LOT OF TEAMWORK AND BEHIND THE SCENES ACTION TO MAKE SURE THEY SHOWCASE ALL THE FLAVORS OF NEW ORLEANS.
