Snow showers Tuesday, more snow Wednesday night into Thursday
A few lingering snow showers are likely tonight, especially north. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy with some clearing arriving late. Lows reach the single digits and teens.Monday will be a quiet kickoff to the workweek, with a partly sunny sky in the morning and more clouds arriving in the afternoon. Highs reach the low to mid-20s.Tuesday will feature a mostly cloudy sky and a few snow showers and squalls in the afternoon, as a cold front approaches. A quick covering to a couple of inches are possible as these move through, with up to 3 or 4 inches in the northern mountains. Wednesday looks dry and chilly, with a partly sunny sky and highs in the low 20s.Then, a round of snow is likely Wednesday night into Thursday. There may be some mixing in play, which would limit accumulation. However, if cold air is able to lock in and keep the storm all snow, several inches would be possible.Friday (Valentine’s Day) looks dry and chilly, then another round of snow is likely late Saturday into Sunday.
