
A former SUNY Canton professor has been arrested on bribery charges, according to New York State Police.Rajiv R. Narula, 45, was dismissed from his role at SUNY Canton in May of 2023 after he was accused of accepting bribes from students in exchange for giving them higher grades. A subsequent investigation was performed by the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Narula has now been charged with eight counts of bribery. He was arraigned and is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Canton Court on April 28.This investigation is ongoing.
