Breeze Airways ‘taking a break’ from serving Plattsburgh International Airport
A popular airline will not be serving the North Country for the time being, according to a statement on their website.Top video: See previous coverageBreeze Airways, which began offering nonstop flights from the North Country to Orlando in November 2023, said on their website that they will be “Taking a break” from serving the region for the time being.The airline also had a route to Tampa, Florida that launched in February 2024.The statement went on to say that purchasing reservations at the airport will be available again once service resumes. However, an anticipated date for that service was not provided.Breeze Airways also serves Vermont out of Leahy Burlington International Airport, with routes to destinations including Raleigh-Durham, Orlando, Tampa and Charleston. Meanwhile, Contour Airlines launched a new nonstop route from Plattsburgh to Washington Dulles earlier this week.
