
Vermont Route 100 between Airport Road and Meadow Road in Waitsfield is back open Saturday morning following a severe motor vehicle crash, according to Vermont State Police.According to police, just after 6 a.m. Saturday morning, they responded to a single-vehicle crash on Vermont Route 100 near Airport Road in Waitsfield. The driver, 20-year-old Dason Dowsey, was found away from the car. Police believe Dowsey’s car left the road and overturned. He was taken to the Central Vermont Medical Center for life-threatening injuries. He was later transferred to the University of Vermont Medical Center. The road reopened around 6:45 a.m. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
