A Kentucky man won $100,000 playing the Pick 4 lottery game by combining numbers from two important people in his life. The man, from Estill County, purchased four $10 Pick 3 tickets during the lottery’s “14 Days of Christmas in July” promotion, which got him an additional four Pick 4 tickets. Those numbers are personal to me; a buddy of mine who passed away always played 937.”Seeing the numbers 9273 also reminded him of his brother’s birthday, Sept. 27. So, the man decided to combine the two for his other tickets. “I told the store clerk, ‘You have to give me two $10 Pick 4 tickets with 9273,’ and that’s how it happened,” he said. That combination ended up being the winning number that night, and the man won a total of $100,000.
