Ahmed Diawara’s graduation signals new style of offense to come in for SeaWolves

“> MIDDLEBURY OPENS UP AGAINST ESSEX.. ON SEPTEMBER 4TH THE STATES BIGGEST CO-OP! BURLINGTON.. SOUTH BURLINGTON.. AND WINOOSKI HAVE UNITED FOR ANOTHER SEASON! THE SEAWOLVES ARE GOING TO BE A BIG QUESTION MARK HEADING INTO A NEW SEASON. LAST YEAR’S STARTING QUARTERBACK AHMED DIAWARA HAS GRADUATED FROM THE PROGRAM.. AND THE BEST PLAYER ON ANY FIELD AT ANY GIVEN TIME.. TAKES AWAY THE ENTIRETY OF THE SEAWOLVES OFFENSE A SEASON AGO. NOW THERE’S SOME NEW FACES IN THE MIX. AND HEAD COACH CHADDE WOLF IS EXCITED ABOUT BEING ABLE TO OPEN UP HIS PLAYBOOK TO MORE PLAYMAKERS.. THAN HE DID A SEASON AGO <Chadde Wolf – SeaWolves Football Head Coach – “in hindsight when you were playing us, it was very simple. You needed to stop the quarterback. we’re going to have a lot of different parts that will take care of that missing piecE. Jack foster is going to move from receiver to quarterback. He’s had a great preseason. Got a couple of new receivers coming in from the Burlington basketball team, which is nice. it all starts with the line though. I think our line’s coming back. We’ve got some new guys in there SEAWOLVES WILL HAVE TO PROVE THEMSELVES IN DIVISION 1 AGAIN! THEY WON 5 GAMES IN 2024 TO FINISH WITH A WINNING RECORD.. BUT ONLY TWO OF THOSE WINS CAME AGAINST DIVISIONAL OPPONANTS. FOR A COUPLE KIDS LEARNING NEW POSITIONS.. THE TASK WILL BE DIFFICULT. BUT THE MOOD WITHIN THE SEAWOLVES LOCKEROOM IS THAT OF CONFIDANCE.. AND A WHY NOT US MENTALITY <jACK fOSTER, SENIOR QUARTERBAC – “Well, it’s mostly about, like, the leadership role. Just bringing the guys together. We have, again, a solid team. I love all these guys are like brothers to me. And it’s kind of easy to, like, get them going because I’m so close to them.”> <Jude Hermansky, SENIOR LINEMAN – “we still have all the team work from last year, and we all know the quarterback that we have this year. So I just think we need to work on a lot of stuff this year for everything. Yeah. “> ALL STARTS ON SATURD
