The first of many milestone moments in the 2025-26 Section VII athletics season was made on the boys’ high school soccer pitch. Peru High School’s Seanen Edwards was the first player from the Section to reach 100 career points this season. Edwards reached the milestone after a two-goal and two-assist performance in a 6-0 win for Peru against Schuylerville High School. Edwards earned 100 after a bicycle kick goal, following up his initial shot and scoring on the rebound opportunity. Peru will turn its attention to next Saturday, Sept. 6, as it prepares to face Glens Falls High School in the next game. Kickoff for that matchup is at 10 a.m.
