THE WORD IS OUT ON THE CAMPUS OF U-V-M THAT VIRTUE FIELD IS THE PLACE TO BE! THE U-V-M MEN’S SOCCER TEAM.. IS BACK INSIDE THE TOP 10 OF THE COACHES POLL.. LOOKING TO GET BACK IN THE TOP 5… AND THEY HAVE A FIMILIAR FOE IN THE BUILDING.. HOFSTRA PRIDE… LOOKING FOR REVENGE FROM LAST SEASONS NCAA TOURNAMENT! BEAUTFUL NIGHT AT AMERICA’S MECCA FOR COLLEGE SOCCER! A SOLD OUT CROWD ON HAND.. WITH AN EPIC STUDENT SECTION.. TO WATCH THE CATS AND PRIDE 1. VERMONT is playing with that first goal.. MAXI KISSELL right in the middle of things.. gets a great look… 2. then a few minutes later.. header is just off.. After a scoreless first half, Vermont’s Phillip Kuehn found a rebound in the box to put Vermont ahead in the 69th minute. Hofstra would tie the game less than five minutes later, and in the 83rd minute, UVM would find Niels Hartman in the box to give a game-winning goal, and the 100th win of head coach Rob Dow’s career.Vermont is back on the road this Saturday, taking on Fairfield, before conference play begins on the 27th of September.Watch the highlights in the video above!
