
Members of the New York State Police responded to a crash involving a dirt bike and a car on Sunday that left a teenager in critical condition. The crash happened just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Sand Road and Newell Court in Schuyler Falls.According to state police, a 2023 Nissan was traveling west on Sand Road. At the same time, a 2021 Honda dirt bike, operated by a 15-year-old from Morrisonville, was traveling south on Newell Court. As they approached the intersection, the two vehicles collided. Police said the 15-year-old was ejected from the dirt bike. Morrisonville EMS arrived at the scene and transported the teenager to CVPH for further evaluation. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later airlifted to UVM, where he was listed in critical condition.This investigation is ongoing.
