Weather at Your School: Benson Village School
Fourth and fifth graders showed us their artistic side with these weather signs
to trend drier, heading into early next week. This morning we had students arrive at Benson Village School as early as 415 this morning, eager to deliver the forecast. They did an excellent job. And then after the newscast, we caught up with the fourth and fifth graders. Ahead of our visit, these young meteorologists in training got creative, making cardboard weather signs to represent the types of weather we typically see here in Vermont. ááá6 SOTS IN A ROWWWWWáááa rainy day, cloudy day.á it up here on the top with like, some yellow for like, the sun and blue for the, like the sky. And it’s supposed to be like, a sun riseá I did thunder and to be like, a sun riseá I did thunder and lightningá I like when you’re sitting in your house and it’s just like sprinkling and you don’t want to get wet, but you look out the window and you see a rainbow. That’s my favorite part about the weather.á like it when it rains so I can just have my umbrella and help the chickens and feed themá Marissa: why did you decide to draw what you drew?
