SACCHETTI IS LIVE AT HARVARD IN CAMBRIDGE TONIGHT. SHARMAN. ERIKA. PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS SAID HE WILL SIGN THIS IF IN FACT IT PASSES IN THE SENATE AND HE’S AGAIN CRITICIZING DEMOCRATS. HE’S ALSO CRITICIZING FORMER HARVARD PRESIDENT LARRY SUMMERS FOR HIS FRIENDSHIP WITH JEFFREY EPSTEIN, TWO THIRDS BEING IN THE AFFIRMATIVE. THE RULES ARE SUSPENDED. THE BILL IS PASSED. NOW THAT IT HAS OVERWHELMINGLY PASSED IN THE HOUSE. A BILL FORCING THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT TO RELEASE FILES ON JEFFREY EPSTEIN HEADS TO THE SENATE. I THINK THIS IS AN OVERDUE MOMENT. THE SPEAKER WAS DRUGGED TO IT, KICKING AND SCREAMING. BUT HERE WE ARE. FOR MONTHS, REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP AND THE PRESIDENT OPPOSED RELEASING THE FILES. DEMOCRATS ARE TRYING TO USE THE EPSTEIN MATTER AS A POLITICAL WEAPON TO DISTRACT FROM THEIR OWN PARTY’S FAILURES. NOW, IN A REVERSAL, THE PRESIDENT SAYS HE’LL SIGN IT IF IT PASSES IN THE SENATE. THE PRESIDENT COULD RELEASE THE FILES HIMSELF AT ANY TIME, BUT HAS NOT. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH JEFFREY EPSTEIN IN THE OVAL OFFICE. PRESIDENT TRUMP DISMISSED IT AS A DEMOCRAT HOAX AND CRITICIZED FORMER HARVARD PRESIDENT LARRY SUMMERS. EMAILS SHOW SUMMERS CONTINUED A FRIENDLY RELATIONSHIP WITH EPSTEIN LONG AFTER HIS CRIMES WERE REVEALED. BILL CLINTON, LARRY SUMMERS, WHO RAN HARVARD, WAS WITH HIM EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND. THEY LIVED TOGETHER. THEY WENT TO HIS ISLAND MANY TIMES I NEVER DID. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DESERVE THE TRUTH. SURVIVORS DESERVE JUSTICE. PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS ORDERED AN INVESTIGATION OF DEMOCRATS, PROMPTING ONE ABUSE SURVIVOR TO SAY THIS. I BEG YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP, PLEASE STOP MAKING THIS POLITICAL. IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU. PRESIDENT TRUMP. YOU ARE OUR PRESIDENT. PLEASE START ACTING LIKE IT NOW. SUMMERS HAS SAID THAT HE WILL STEP BACK FROM PUBLIC COMMITMENTS, BUT PLANS TO KEEP TEACHING HERE. WE DID REACH OUT TO HARVARD FOR
