
Vermont State Police are looking for information after receiving reports that a tractor-trailer hit a power pole in the town of Dummerston and kept going.Police received the report around 1 p.m. Sunday. Troopers learned that the tractor-trailer was turning around at the intersection of Middle Road and Houghton Road when it struck the power pole and broke it in half. Middle Road was closed for about 45 minutes. When police arrived, the vehicle was gone, but troopers found tire tracks that appeared to belong to a box truck or a tractor-trailer. Based on the information that was reported to state police, investigators believe the vehicle was white with blue writing on the cab of the truck.
