VEHICLES FOR CHANGE DONATED THREE REHAB CARS TO THREE VERY DESERVING DRIVERS. ONE WAS MILFORD, FROM BALTIMORE CITY. HAVING ACCESS TO THE CAR WILL GIVE HIM AND HIS FAMILY NEW OPPORTUNITIES. IT’S OPENING DOORS FOR ME. OPPORTUNITIES THAT I HAD TO SAY NO TO. NOW I CAN SAY YES TO BECAUSE I HAVE ACCESS. THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENT MY DAD HAS EVER GOT, BECAUSE I DON’T HAVE TO WALK OUT IN THE SNOW NO MORE. BECAUSE EVER SINCE THIS, IT’S BEEN REALLY COLD OUTSIDE. There’s nothing like getting inside a brand-new car — especially during the holiday season.Three Baltimore-area drivers got to start their new engines on Wednesday. Vehicles for Change donated three rehabbed cars to three drivers. One of the drivers, Omithong Milfort, a Baltimore City resident, said access to the car will give him and his family new opportunities.Milfort has a different perspective from some recipients because he actually worked for Vehicles for Change.The nonprofit gives tutoring and hands-on instruction on how to fix cars. Nearly 100% of Vehicles for Change’s cars come from public donations.
