Police charge 20-year-old with attempted murder in Colchester shooting
A 20-year-old man is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, after a shooting Saturday evening in Colchester. According to police, Dakota Ward of Enosburgh is facing charges for attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and possession of a weapon charges. The 25-year-old victim from Milton is recovering from facial wounds at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
