A Berlin man is dead after a head-on crash on Route 302.According to Vermont State Police, 78-year-old Melvin Pellerin was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado toward Barre around 3:30 p.m. Friday near Provencher Lane. He fishtailed due to the weather, crossed the double yellow line and crashed into a 2024 GMC Sierra. The driver of that car suffered minor injuries. The cab of Pellerin’s truck separated from the frame. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call the VSP Berlin Barracks.
