
Vermont State Police say a man died while skiing at Sugarbush Resort on Saturday.Officials say it happened just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. State police were told by first responders that the male skier had died after falling while skiing on Stein’s Run in the Lincoln Peak area.Investigators found that the skier had fallen and slid into a wooded area off the trail. He was found unresponsive by ski patrol and was declared dead by first responders.The body has been taken to Burlington for an autopsy. Police do not believe the death was suspicious.The skier’s identity has been withheld pending family notification.
