You’re going to wake up to some blustery conditions on Wednesday morning with the wind already sustained near 15 mph for many and temperatures having dipped down into the 20s. That means wind chills in the teens and single digits so dress appropriately especially if you’ll be outside for any length of time. It’s not much better for the afternoon, while we are going to be dry and may even get some afternoon sun, highs will only be in the upper 20s for the Champlain Valley and the cold wind will stay out of the northwest around 15 mph.Cold again and still breezy on Thursday morning so once again wind chills will still only be in the teens. The good news is that even though we keep the wind, it will shift to coming out of the south and bring a little bit of a warm up for the afternoon. It will get us back into the mid 40s despite a mostly cloudy sky. Even warmer Friday as highs get back into the mid 50s but still breezy.Saturday looks dry but mostly cloudy and temperatures in the mid 40s but with less wind. Sunday so far looks dry but we could see a few light showers late. The better chance for showers will be on Monday, in the form of rain. But a strong cold front will pass midday and drop temperatures enough to bring us a mix. Follow the weather team on Facebook: Tom Messner | Caitlin Napoleoni | Tyler Jankoski | Ben Frechette
