“It’s a great learning experience for us, being a new coaching staff, you know,” he said. “We’ve been practicing for a long time so we felt pretty confident there but it’s just nice now to get some games in, get some experience under our belt and be able to grow from here. Being able to play these early games is a big advantage so we can get the wrinkles out early and then be able to be ready to go for the long haul.”
