LIGHT RAINFALL CONTINUE TO BE OBSERVED ACROSS CENTRAL NEW YORK BUT BUILDING MID- LEVEL HEIGHTS WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPRESS ANY RAINFALL TO THE SOUTH OF OUR FORECAST AREA THIS EVENING. IN THE MEAN TIME, EASTERLY FLO IN THE LOW LEVELS HAS HELPED ADVECT A MARITIME AIR MASS INTO VERMONT WITH DEWPOINTS INCREASING THIS AFTERNOON WITH NOTICEABL COOLER TEMPERATURES COMPARED TO THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS. WE WIL SEE A LOT OF THIS CLOUD COVE DISSIPATE DURING THE OVERNIGH HOURS AS DRIER AIR FILTERS INTO THE REGION WHICH WILL ALLOW FO LOWS TO DROP INTO THE MID 30S TO LOWER 40S. Tuesday looks mild with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the upper 60s.Even Wednesday should feature a good deal of sunshine, mixed with some clouds. Highs will be in the upper 60s again.Thursday brings the best chance for a rain shower, but still, that chance is highest south and west of the Champlain Valley.Come Friday, a storm could be dumping wet snow in the mountains of southern New England, possibly even in southern Vermont. But, most northern locations miss out on this one!The potential for several inches of heavy, wet snow is there in the mountains.
