Sept. 5 is the last day for this exhibit, which is free for ECHO center members or with general admission.Champlain Valley Fair – Sunday is the last day to check out the 100th annual Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction, and this year, the “Ten best days of summer” end with a performance by comedian Jeff Dunham. Tickets are still available here.Comedy for Mom and Dad – For more adult comedy, stand-up comic Sam Morril is playing the Vermont Comedy Club this weekend in Burlington. Tickets are still available for select shows here.Mad River Valley Craft Fair – Check out an outdoor display of handmade art, live music, kids’ activities and more at the Mad River Valley Craft Fair in Waitsfield this weekend from Sept. 3-4. This year is the 51st anniversary of the fair. Tickets are available for $5 per person, while admission for kids under 12 is free.Horse Festival and Expo – The 4th annual Horse Festival and Horse Expo is taking place this weekend through Monday at the Vermont State Fairgrounds in Rutland. You can find out more by contacting the expo at (802) 775-5200.Labor Day Fireworks Display – See a free fireworks display on Sunday night courtesy of the city of St. Albans and Nitro. The Dick Henderson Bridge will be closed to foot traffic only from the Nitro and St. Albans’ sides beginning around 8:30 pm to provide pedestrians with an unobstructed view of the show.
