One-on-one interview with WMUR touches on Gov. Sununu’s attacks, abortion issue

Former President Donald Trump drew a big crowd at a campaign event in Manchester on Thursday.Receiving the endorsement of a slew of New Hampshire state representatives, Trump declared that if he returned to the White House, he would broker a peace deal to end the war in Ukraine.After the event, Trump spoke one-on-one with WMUR Political Director Adam Sexton. When asked what Trump thought of Sununu, he said that Sununu “couldn’t get elected now.””Well, he couldn’t get elected now, but he should have run for Senate when he could have,” Trump said. “I was very good to him when I was president, very good to the state. He would have been a good supporter, but he is just a little bit cuckoo.”Regarding Ukraine, Trump said he could resolve the war within 24 hours of getting elected into office. “I get Putin and I get Zelenskyy together, I know them both very well. And you remember Zelenskyy, that was the perfect phone call and it was very good. He said, no, there was no threat, there was no anything. He didn’t know what they were talking about, frankly. But I get along well with him and I get along very well with Putin and they know it’s no games. I’d have this thing settled in 24 hours.,” Trump said, “The deal will be made so that they’re both. They’re both whole. Something’s going to happen. Look, that thing will go on for a long time if somebody doesn’t get involved. Now, I see China is getting involved.
