Vermont State Police say 20-year old Samuel Paprin got caught in the rapids
Vermont State Police are investigating an apparent drowning after a Connecticut man was found unresponsive in the Bolton Potholes on Tuesday afternoon.According to State Police, 20-year old Samuel Paprin of Greenwich, Connecticut was swimming there when he was caught in the rapids. Paprin was pulled from the water and taken to UVM Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.State Police, Richmond Rescue, Richmond Fire and Bolton Fire all responded to the swimming area on Tuesday afternoon. VSP says their investigation is ongoing and if anyone has information about the drowning, to give them a call at 802-878-7111.
