Indian River’s football season comes to a close, falls to Maine Endwell

VESTAL, New York (WWNY) – The Indian River Warriors were looking to punch their ticket to the State Class B Final 4 on the gridiron as they met Maine Endwell in Vestal Saturday afternoon.

Maine Endwell strikes first in the 1st when Austyn Nyschot takes it 33 yards on the quarterback keeper: 7-0 Maine Endwell.

In the 2nd quarter, it was Nyschot scrambling and finding Vincent Mancini for the 5 yard touchdown pass: 13-0.

Then it was Jayden Brach finding a hole up the middle for a 55 yard touchdown run to put Maine Endwell on top 20-0 at the half.

In the 3rd quarter, Nyschot finds Mancini and it’s off to the races wit a 65 yard touchdown pass: 27-0 Maine Endwell.

In the 4th quarter, the score was 41-0 when Derek Jones plows in from 2 yards out: 41-8 Maine Endwell.

Jones would add a 5 yard touchdown run late in the game, but Maine Endwell ends the Warriors season, beating Indian River 41-14.
