Morrisville residents displaced after lightening sets apartment building on fire
All residents of the apartment building have been displaced and are working with the American Red Cross.
A 4-unit apartment building in Morrisville has been evacuated after lightning struck the building around 7 a.m. on Sunday.1st Assistant Chief, Jason Kelley, of the Morrisville Fire Dept told NBC5 that the call came in around 7 in the morning, and all Lamoille County fire departments responded to the scene.While fighting the blaze, Sterling Valley Rd in Morrisville/Stowe from Stagecoach Road was closed until around 2 p.m.As of Sunday night, all residents of the apartment building have been displaced and are working with the American Red Cross.
