Assemblyman Billy Jones released a statement about the delays on Tuesday, saying in part that Amtrak needs to “stop playing games with the North Country.”Jones said these are just the latest issues to hurt the regional economy as well as travelers who rely on daily train service. He is now calling on Amtrak and the New York State Department of Transportation to address the problem.
