
A major water main break has shut down several streets in Vermont’s capital city.The Montpelier Department of Public Works said that the water main break happened in the area off Hubbard Park Drive and Clarendon Avenue in Montpelier on Friday afternoon. Officials are asking people to avoid the area at this time.Jordan Street is also impassable while crews work to fix the break. Clarendon Avenue is also shut down.There is an additional water main break on Country Club Road.
