With many folks buying tickets ahead of Friday night’s drawing, the Mega Millions jackpot soared to an estimated $1.22 billion for the Friday, Dec. 27 drawing.The numbers are now in. Are you the big winner?Friday’s winning numbers are: 3, 7, 37, 49, 55, and the Mega Ball 6.The game’s jackpot swelled to an estimated $1.15 billion on Christmas Day after no ticket matched all six numbers in the Christmas Eve drawing. According to the Mega Millions website, the value of the big prize has since grown to an estimated $1.22 billion, with a cash option of $549.7 million. If any ticket matches all six numbers for Friday night’s drawing, it would be the fifth-largest jackpot in the game’s history. It would also be the ninth-largest in U.S. lottery history, according to lottery officials.Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets are $2 each until April 2025, when ticket prices will increase to $5 each. In most jurisdictions, players can add the Megaplier for an additional $1 to multiply their non-jackpot prizes. Drawings are conducted at 11 p.m. ET on Tuesdays and Fridays in Atlanta, Georgia.
