
The Williston Fire Department had to work quickly to rescue a man who became trapped under his car earlier this week.Department officials said the man had been accidentally run over by his car and became trapped after the vehicle dragged him 30 feet down his sloped driveway. Firefighters were able to use specialized equipment to lift the car off the man and package him for transport to the University of Vermont Medical Center. Officials said he was being treated for minor injuries.The department said they were able to free the man in less than seven minutes and wished him a speedy recovery.
