‘Delivering a million packages’: Amazon driver goes viral with rant caught on doorbell cam
Everybody makes mistakes. Now I’m sitting out here delivering *** million packages to *** million, and everybody certainly has those days. Don’t nobody out here know how to go to Walmart or go to *** Target or anything like that. These bro. But what happens when that expletive-filled rant is caught on camera and shared with the world? It was like, oh my God, you got to be kidding me. Really? It did shock me. Video shared by *** Redford homeowner captured on her Nest security camera showing an Amazon delivery driver airing out his frustrations while dropping off packages. I mean, if he doesn’t want the job, he shouldn’t keep the job if he’s going to be complaining about it. It’s kind of unprofessional. But I can understand his frustration. It’s cold and people don’t want to go out. And if you sign up for Amazon, you’ve got to deliver packages. Don’t tell you that you ain’t got to deliver when it’s *** certain type of weather. It’s tell you you got that’s your job. The homeowner wanted to remain anonymous, but she tells me she’s pretty annoyed. She’s *** single mom. She works 3 jobs and goes to school, and she says she pays for the convenience. So I feel like he should be more appreciative of people like me. I’m *** felon. I can’t. Amazon tells us in *** statement they are actively looking into this and will take appropriate action following our review. Based on the actions depicted in the video. This behavior does not reflect the standards we hold for drivers delivering to Amazon customers, end quote. I’d love to be an Amazon worker, to be honest with you. Tell them they can fire him and hire me. How about that? In the meantime, this video has been viewed by tens of thousands online and counting.
