OKAY. I MEAN, AT THE CORE, WE’RE ALL THE SAME. AFTER LAST WEEK’S CHAOS, MANY TRAVELERS ARRIVED HOURS EARLY MONDAY, FEARING ANOTHER BACKUP. OTHERS TOOK NO CHANCES, RESCHEDULING THEIR FLIGHTS. SO IT’S EITHER CAMP OUT OR CHANGE IT. SO WE CHANGE IT FOR TODAY. JUST TO BE SURE THAT WE COULD GET ON A FLIGHT AND NOT BE ON LONG LINES SATURDAY. SECURITY LINES STRETCHED THROUGH THE TERMINAL, WRAPPED AROUND THE SIDEWALK, AND LEFT SOME PASSENGERS WAITING UP TO FIVE HOURS. FINE. IT WAS JUST TERRIBLE TO SEE. IT’S SCARY BECAUSE WE DON’T KNOW WHAT WE’RE GOING TO GET INTO WHEN WE GET THERE, BUT WHEN WE GOT HERE, LET’S SEE WHAT WE SAW HERE AT BWI. IT’S LIKE A NEW LEASE ON LIFE THOUGH THE SIGNS DON’T SAY IT. I AM TOLD BY BWI THAT THEIR SUGGESTION IS COME TO THE AIRPORT SOMETHING MORE ROUTINELY TWO HOURS BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT. AND IF YOU’RE COMING HERE, PRE CHECK AND CLEAR ARE ONCE AGAIN OPEN.
