TSA providing discounted PreCheck membership for travelers 30 and under

WITH WHAT TO EXPECT IF YOU’RE FLYING ANYTIME SOON. NOT LONG AGO, THIS CONCOURSE WAS PACKED WITH PASSENGERS SPRAWLING ACROSS THE AREA, SPILLING OUTDOORS. WHILE MONDAY IT IS A VERY DIFFERENT SCENE, YOU CAN SEE HERE, IT IS SMOOTH SAILING. THE AREA HAS STAYED CLEAR THROUGHOUT THE DAY. ALL FOUR CHECKPOINTS ARE OPERATING AND PASSENGERS ARE MOVING THROUGH STEADILY. NOW. THE HOPE IS THAT THINGS STAY THIS WAY. WE’VE BEEN LISTENING TO THE NEWS SINCE WE GOT HERE ABOUT. ABOUT THE NIGHTMARE. WE DODGED A BULLET. WE THINK AT BWI MONDAY, TRAVELERS ARE PASSING THROUGH SECURITY WITH LITTLE TROUBLE. THE CONCOURSE IS FREE OF THE CROWDS SEEN IN RECENT DAYS. I WAS VERY RELIEVED BECAUSE TRAVELING WITH A BABY IS HARD ENOUGH. AS TSA WORKERS FINALLY GET THEIR PAY AND ICE AGENTS REMAIN INSIDE THE AIRPORT, HELPING WITH SECURITY OPERATIONS. IT’S JUST A HARD SITUATION FOR EVERYONE, AND THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT WE’RE SAFE. SAFETY FIRST AND FOREMOST. I JUST WISH WE WOULD ALL GET ON ONE ACCORD AND STOP THE FIGHTING. IT’S RIDICULOUS. OKAY. I MEAN, AT THE CORE, WE’RE ALL THE SAME. AFTER LAST WEEK’S CHAOS, MANY TRAVELERS ARRIVED HOURS EARLY MONDAY, FEARING ANOTHER BACKUP. OTHERS TOOK NO CHANCES, RESCHEDULING THEIR FLIGHTS. SO IT’S EITHER CAMP OUT OR CHANGE IT. SO WE CHANGE IT FOR TODAY. JUST TO BE SURE THAT WE COULD GET ON A FLIGHT AND NOT BE ON LONG LINES SATURDAY. SECURITY LINES STRETCHED THROUGH THE TERMINAL, WRAPPED AROUND THE SIDEWALK, AND LEFT SOME PASSENGERS WAITING UP TO FIVE HOURS. FINE. IT WAS JUST TERRIBLE TO SEE. IT’S SCARY BECAUSE WE DON’T KNOW WHAT WE’RE GOING TO GET INTO WHEN WE GET THERE, BUT WHEN WE GOT HERE, LET’S SEE WHAT WE SAW HERE AT BWI. IT’S LIKE A NEW LEASE ON LIFE THOUGH THE SIGNS DON’T SAY IT. I AM TOLD BY BWI THAT THEIR SUGGESTION IS COME TO THE AIRPORT SOMETHING MORE ROUTINELY TWO HOURS BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT. AND IF YOU’RE COMING HERE, PRE CHECK AND CLEAR ARE ONCE AGAIN OPEN. IF YOU’RE CHECKING A BAG, THE LINE IS NOT
