WHEN IT COMES TO THIS POINT — IN THE N-C-A-A DIVISION THREE WOMEN’S LACROSSE SEASON — THERE ARE NEARLY THREE THINGS GURANTEED IN LIFE. DEATH — TAXES — AND MIDDLEBURY REACHING THE FINAL FOUR. ALL THE PANTHERS HAD TO DO TO REACH THAT FEAT — WAS TO EARN ONE MORE WIN AT PETER CONE FIELD — IN THE N-C-A-A QUARTERFINALS — AGAINST THE COLLEGE OF NEW JERSEY LIONS. AND THEY DID JUST THAT. MIDDLEBURY — JUST LIKE IN THEIR PREVIOUS WIN AGAINST ROWAN — SCORED NINE GOALS IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF PLAY — LEADING TO A 19-4 VICTORY AGAINST T-C-N-J. THE PANTHERS — HAD MULTIPLE PLAYERS REACH TWO OR MORE GOALS — INCLUDING THE NORWICH VERMONT NATIVE — CAROLINE ADAMS. THE SENIOR SCORED A PAIR OF GOALS — BUT ALSO WAS THE TEAM LEADER IN ASSISTS — FINISHING WITH THREE TO EARN HER FIVE POINTS IN THE VICTORY. THIS MARKS MIDDLEBURY’S 6TH CONSECUTIVE FINAL FOUR APPEARANACE — AS THE PANTHERS WILL LOOK TO EARN THEIR 12TH N-C-A-A CHAMPIONSHIP. MIDDLEBURY IS ALSO ON PACE — TO EARN THEIR 7TH UNDEFEATED SEASON — AS THEY CURRENTLY STAND AT 21 AND OH — OVERALL. ALL THE ACCOLADES ARE A CORE PIECE TO THE PROGRAM’S RICH HISTORY — SHOWING THIS GROUP OF LACROSSE PLAYERS KNOWS WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN. BEFORE THE START OF THE TOURNAMENT — MIDDLEBURY SENIOR DEFENDER CAROLINE MESSER — RECOGNIZED HOW IMPORTANT THAT HISTORY IS — IN GUDING THEM TO WIN AFTER WIN. <Caroline Messer – Middlebury Women’s Lacrosse Senior Defender> “you learn so much from the people before you and they’re all winners obviously, too. So I think just wanting to, like, keep that tradition going for Middlebury, like, obviously the winning is so great, but it’s everything that comes with that. Like all the hard work. Our Culture is so strong.” <Kate Livesy- Middlebury Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach> “We prepare really thoroughly for every one that we face. So I think that’s just built into sort of the culture and the mindset of, of the kids in this program. and so it’s not hard to kind of focus that this time of year, they really understand every game something is at stake “” AND THE NEXT GAME — THE STAKES WILL CERTAINLY BE HIGH. MIDDLEBURY WILL TAKE ON THEIR NESCAC RIVAL TUFTS — IN THE N-C-A-A SEMIFINAL
