
Alburgh Town School District voters have approved an $8.2 million school budget after two earlier proposals failed.According to unofficial results from the Grand Isle Supervisory Union, the spending plan passed Tuesday’s revote, 166-94.The district returned to voters after its original budget proposal was rejected in March, and a revised version failed by just one vote in May.The approved budget reduces spending by more than $50,000 from the original proposal, but still represents a 6.2% increase in per-pupil spending compared with the current school year.
