New England was unbeaten at 9-0 in USL2 league games before playing the now 7-0 Green, who handed New England their first loss of the season. Diego Rosas, David Ajagbe and Samson Kpardeh scored all three of the first half goals for Vermont while Ryan Zellefrow and Marco Dos Santos added the next two in the second half. Vermont Green will turn their attention to Seacoast United for another USL2 Northeast Division Game. Kickoff for that match is on Tuesday, June 16 at 7 p.m. at Virtue Field.
