Sunshine sticks around Monday, showers and storms return midweek
Sunday looks drier, with a refreshing northwest breeze. Clouds will be stubborn, especially near the mountains, through mid-morning. The rest of the day turns mostly sunny, with highs in the mid-70s, low humidity and much less wildfire smoke.
Tonight will be mostly clear and comfortably cool. Lows reach the 40s and 50s.

Monday also looks beautiful, with a mostly sunny sky and highs in the low 80s, as the humidity stays in check.
The humidity spikes on Tuesday with a mostly cloudy sky, scattered showers and a few storms, especially by afternoon and evening. Some storms may be strong to severe, with gusty wind, and the greatest risk being in southern areas. Highs reach the upper 70s.
Additional scattered showers and storms linger Wednesday, with highs in the mid-70s and the high humidity lingering.
A quieter stretch is expected late week, with lots of sunshine. Highs reach the upper 70s and 80s.
