The Champlain Valley experienced the sixth-warmest year on record in 2022. Recent years have also been very warm, with 2021, 2020, 2017, 2016 and 2012 making up the top five warmest ever recorded in the Burlington area.22 record high temperatures were set compared with only one record low temperature.The wild imbalance of records has been true every year for the last several years.
