Gouverneur man accused of stealing over $6K from employer

GOUVERNEUR, New York (WWNY) – A 46-year-old Gouverneur man faces felony charges for allegedly stealing money from his employer.

Village police arrested Frank Daniels on September 28 on felony counts of third-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records.

According to police, Daniels was the office manager of M & M Heating & AC of Gouverneur LLC.

Between March 24 and July 31, Daniels allegedly made a series of unauthorized withdrawals totaling $6,678.78 from the business’s bank account. He’s accused of trying to cover it up by making false entries in the business records.

Daniels was arraigned in the Gouverneur Town Court and released under the supervision of probation.
