2024 Vermont City Marathon champion Philemon Terer will not return to Burlington to run the 2026 race, sources confirmed to NBC5.The Kenyan native was working to renew his visa and was not able to secure it in time for the May 24 race.Terer, who also goes by Kiplangat, currently has the fastest marathon time in the field with a 2024 finish of 2:13:29.
